Biodiversity Law Centre

The Biodiversity Law Centre works to identify where legal interventions can have the most powerful impacts on biodiversity conservation.

The Biodiversity Law Centre was borne out of work by the Wild Law Institute, identifying the need for a legal centre dedicated to biodiversity conservation, within Southern Africa, that prioritises interventions that will have impacts at scale, using responses that are both reactive and proactive. The Biodiversity Law Centre was established in 2021 and operates as an independent Public Benefit Organisation and Non-Profit.
