Katrina is a passionate campaigner and researcher for environmental and climate justice.

Katrina is a passionate campaigner and researcher for environmental and climate justice. She started her path with a Bachelor of Science and Honours in Applied Biology, Ecology and Evolution from the University of Cape Town. She subsequently completed a Masters in Environment, Politics and Development at SOAS, University of London. These experiences gave her a thorough understanding of the environmental crises facing the planet, an understanding of the political nature of those crises and a passion for building the wellbeing of socio-ecological systems as a whole. She has previously worked at the Independent Redress Mechanism of the Green Climate Fund and the Institute for Economic Justice.
