COP30 became a moment of reflection and renewal for the Global Alliance for the Rights of Nature as it marked 15 years of collective action for the living world. Gatherings in Belém and surrounding areas brought together allies, elders, advocates, and friends to honour the relationships, struggles, and shared victories that have shaped the movement over the past decade and a half.

As the world met to negotiate climate responses, GARN’s 15-year milestone stood as a reminder that lasting change is built through connection, care, and sustained commitment to justice for Earth.
