In October 2025 the Wild Law Institute partnered with the Rock Group at the Nature and Circularity Week 2025, a multi-day event held in October 2025 in the Western Cape and hosted at the Sustainability Institute. The event intended to explore deep questions about how humans relate to nature, law, business, culture and community in ways that support ecological health and justice.

In his session he looked at examples of Rights of Nature law, how law intersects with policy and practice, and ongoing initiatives such as recognising Table Mountain and Antartica as legal subjects with rights.
