Director Cormac Cullinan and Programme Manager Katrina Lehmann-Grube, presented on the topic of Harmonious Coexistence. This approach calls for a shift away from the paradigm of 'sustainable use' which currently guides conservation in South Africa, to one that values all life forms and where humans live harmoniously with nature.
The webinar was hosted by the Climate Justice Charter Movement, a movement of environmental and social justice organisations, labour groups, community-based movements, faiths, youth, individuals and others. The Charter advocates for transformative climate justice, calling for rights of nature and Earth-centred conceptions of what it means to be human.
