Marc Solomon

Marc developed his  deep love of nature and, more specifically, of birds while growing up on a farm in Mpumalanga and spending a lot of his time in the bush. From this also came his commitment to conservation and the preservation of our precious natural resources.

He subsequently spent most of his  working career in the field of Agriculture and Agri business; he’s been involved in citrus farming and citrus marketing for most of his working life and he spent a large part of his working career in the USA running a fruit marketing company.

His professional work experience has placed him in Executive and Board positions of several large Agricultural businesses and Industry bodies and he brings to Wild Law extensive experience in Board governance and the role that the Board can play in helping set strategy for supporting and guiding the organization.

Today Marc spends his time nurturing or mentoring businesses and in the field either watching birds or working as a citizen scientist , He remains passionate about conservation, bio diversity and all things related to birding and he supports various causes in Southern Africa that are dedicated to Conservation.
